Seek & Ye Shall Find ... LOL

While I was searching through my fabrics, a while back, I discovered not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5 .... but many quilt kits I have purchased and neatly tucked away. I have several quilt kits still in boxes and I'm not even sure, at this point, what they are....Oh My!!

January 14, 2010 - While searching for a specific fabric late last night, hiding in a drawer I found not 1 but 2 more kits..eeek!

Antique Quilts
This does not fall under kits but....Antique (literally from the 30s-40s) Crazy Patch quilt - blocks are 16" or 18" (short-term memory). I also don't remember how many blocks were finished and how many needed to be finished, but amazingly there is enough extra muslin and material included to make (finish) the blocks, all for $3.00 at a local church yard sale!!

February 8, 2010 - I found another treasure tucked away! Another Antique quilt top I found at a yard sale for $12. The edging is scalloped; sadly the scallops were not finished. The material color and fabric have faded but it was an 'odd' green to begin with. The texture of the fabric is similar to "flour sacks" with a loose weave. I have been unable to match the green fabric, anywhere. I'm going to check my EQ block library and see if I can come up with the block name.

I know I have a couple more Antique quilts just have to find them....HAHAHA
